For the past three years, the Academic Orthopedic Consortium (AOC) has provided invaluable, free resources to ARCOS for our Departments and for our Trainees(https://myaocconnect.com/wp-content/uploads/JIO-Ad_Residents-r3.pdft) to help Residents and Fellows prepare for the business of orthopaedics and how to navigate job search, employment contracts, and negotiation. Over 3,000 of our Residents & Fellows are already AOC members, nearly 100 of our ARCOS members are AOC members, and most of our Departments utilize these resources.    On top of this, the AOC’s free orthopedic job platform JobsInOrtho is the #1 way that our residents and fellows identify and apply for jobs and is the largest orthopaedic job site in the United States.

Check it out!  Everything they need is all in one location, just in time for job searches and the contracts many are preparing to negotiate!  The AOC allows all ARCOS members and all of our residents and fellows to have free memberships in the AOC, which provides us with total access to all of these presentations, compensation reports, and the jobs platform. As we have done in the past, please email your list of residents and fellows to michael@aoc-ortho.com to begin this process. The AOC will email the residents and fellows directly, and your residents and fellows can then opt in if they wish to create a free membership and access all of above for free. Please note that you only need to email a list of their email addresses (in a word document or an excel spreadsheet or even a PDF), nothing else is needed.  You can contact michael@aoc-ortho.com with any questions.
