Hi everyone,
Sharing a survey on this hot-topic item for this year. If you could forward this survey link to your home students who applied for ortho this year, we’d appreciate it greatly! Also, please share the 2nd link with your program directors.
Thank you!

Program directors and coordinators,
On May 16th, the American Association of Medical Colleges (AAMC) announced their recommendations for how programs should conduct interviews for the 2022-2023 residency application cycle. Among those guidelines, the AAMC strongly recommended that programs conduct virtual interviews. Following this recommendation, Orthopaedic residency programs interviews were completed both virtually and in-person during this past cycle. A research survey is being conducted to better understand the perspectives of applicants and program directors on the different interview formats. We ask that you disperse this survey to applicants from your home institution who applied in the 2022-2023 residency application cycle.

We also want to obtain opinions from program directors on the 2022-2023 interview cycle. This is a very short survey taking less than 2 minutes to complete.

It is important to note participation in this survey is completely voluntary. This research is not connected in any way to The Ohio State University Orthopaedic Residency Program and the decision to participate will not affect the applicants’ current or future standing within the residency program.
Thank you for your willingness to participate,
