Good afternoon,
If you know of any medical students or general surgery prelim residents that did not match into ortho and are looking for a gap position, please share this with them.
2023-2024 Wake Forest Transitional Fellow
Wake Forest Department of Orthopaedic Surgery and Rehabilitation in Winston-Salem, NC is currently accepting applications for a one-year Transitional Fellow position. This position will act as a member of the orthopedic team for ER/inpatient consultations during the week, be an orthopedic liaison to the on-call orthopedic team, have access to assist with the care of both outpatient and inpatient orthopedic patients, and assist with weekend patient coordination.
This position will assist physicians working up patient history and physicals, perform procedures within the ER, and have access to attend orthopedic conferences (Grand Rounds, Trauma Conference, Resident Journal Clubs).
Requirements: Must take Step III exam (to be eligible for a North Carolina Medical Board license).
