    Good Afternoon,

    We are currently accepting applications from ACGME accredited 4<sup>th</sup> year orthopaedic residents who are interested in pursuing an Adult Reconstruction fellowship beginning August 1<sup>st</sup>, 2022.

    In addition, we are also accepting applicants for training beginning August 1<sup>st</sup>, 2021.

    <u>Adult Reconstruction Fellowship Program Description: </u>

    This one-year program is under the direction of George J. Haidukewych, MD, Pratik Desai, MD and Cody Green, MD.  It offers a comprehensive approach to the diagnosis, treatment, and post-operative rehabilitation of all aspects of adult reconstructive orthopaedic surgery. Six fellowship trained faculty that perform over 1,500 reconstructive cases annually will provide the fellow with broad-based surgical experience.

    The fellow will be exposed to a high volume of primary and complex revision hip and knee replacement surgery, infections, unicompartmental TKA, hip resurfacing, robotics, patient specific and outpatient arthroplasty. Our program provides a broad-based exposure to various operative approaches for THA including direct anterior, mini posterior and anterolateral. The fellow will be required to produce one publication quality project.  The fellow will have access to imaging, laboratory, rehabilitation, and research resources. An on-site library is available 24/7 as well as access to the UCF Medical School library and numerous on-line subscriptions and medical databases. The fellow will have a dedicated workspace and computer. Cadaver and simulation labs as well as guest lecturers will be incorporated into the fellow’s annual conference schedule. There will also be a monthly adult reconstructive case conference as well as monthly arthroplasty focused journal club.

    The fellowship will run concurrently with the orthopaedic surgery residency training program.
