Hello everyone,

I need some help/input. We received a citation from the ACGME regarding our residents exposure to General Surgery. Currently, we do not have an accredited General Surgery program. Our plan for next academic year is to send our PGY 1 Residents to another hospital. That was fine with the RC. Our issue is that, they want our residents to have 20 months of General Surgery exposure from years 1-4. We have already changed the schedule the best we could to accommodate their requirements.

Has anyone else had this issue? I have attached our block diagram for review as well. Your input is greatly appreciated.
