Our GME Administrator requested that we ask our colleagues the following questions.
– Appointment forms- do they even require/use a form? Is this an electronic process?
– How do they Monitoring duty hours?
– APE – timeline and templates
– Do they require annual regulatory education (i.e. mandatory education) and how do they get residents to complete?
– How do you handle file retention?
We are curious how other institutions handle these. Any feedback you can provide is much appreciated. We plan to discus this on 11/13 during our Executive Coordinators meeting.
